Na Yi-je is the doctor Taegang Hospital wants on a crash cart and the one a chaebol heir can still throw out. After a malpractice case that was never his, he loses the emergency room and takes the medical post at a prison built for people who do not expect to stay long. Seon Min-sik already runs that clinic like a private practice for the well-connected. Han So-geum treats the women on the other side of the bars and still clocks in at the same hospital that dumped Yi-je. Lee Jae-joon is the son who started the fire. Yi-je treats inmates the city would rather forget, then uses those names the way other doctors use referrals.
