She Was Pretty
Kim Hye-jin used to be the pretty kid whose family owned a publisher. Then the company folded, and she grew into a convenience-store clerk with a face she would rather not show anyone from that old life. Ji Sung-joon used to be the boy who hid. He comes back from abroad as the youngest deputy editor at a fashion magazine and asks to see her. She sends her roommate Min Ha-ri in her place. Then she lands a job at The Most, and her boss is Sung-joon, who does not recognize her and is not gentle about it. Senior editor Kim Shin-hyuk notices her before any of that gets fixed, which is more than her childhood friend can say.
