The panel stayed home. Twenty people who already have kitchens, names, and lines out the door get dropped onto a street and told the receipts are the only scoreboard. Michelin stars do not print on the awning. Customers do not get a briefing. Lee Yeon-bok, Edward Kwon, and the rest of the lineup cook, hawk, and wait to see whose wallet actually opens. The street does not care who they were last year.
