Zombie Detective
He comes to in a body that should have stayed down. No memory, no reliable pulse, and a face that needs work before anyone will let him on a bus. He borrows a detective's name, hangs a sign on a one-room office, and takes jobs that involve finding people who are already gone. Gong Sun-ji used to write investigations for television until a witness on her case got hurt and the job ended. She shows up looking for a paycheck, clocks that her new boss does not blink on time, and does not leave. The missing-persons work is real. So is the question of who dumped medical waste into a dead man and left him walking. Cha Do-hyun, a cop who has been waiting for Sun-ji to notice him since high school, likes none of this.
