Episode 3. Holding hands 

Cheon Yeo-ri and Gang-uk fall into the water and discover the dead body of Da-mi. Yeo-ri hands over the pink cellphone to Gang-uk.

Yeo-ri sees what transpired between Da-mi and Jung Haenyo over the stolen designs. Da-mi falls from the cliff, dropping her cellphone with CCTV evidence. Jung pushes her off the cliff.

Prosecutor Ma declares that the three murder cases are no longer coincidences. In Seoul, he recalls how Yeo-ri avoided his hand—both in the past and again along the coast.

Min-hwan arranges a dinner date with Yeo-ri while monitoring her departure at the airport. At home, he sees his mother Hui-won pulling weeds, noting they must be removed before overtaking other plants.

Cheon Yeo-ri learns Chairman Baek sent her to Jeju Island to accept Kang Min-hwan’s proposal to operate Reina Hotels and consider marriage to seal the partnership. Chairman Baek pressures her to marry within two months to end ghost rumors.

Ha-ri insists on operating the Reina Department Store instead of the gallery. She and Min-hwan meet at the store and reschedule dinner.

Min-hwan visits Chairman Baek with flowers and cake. They discuss the failed deal and miss Yeo-ri, who left on time.

Min-hwan recalls overhearing that he was adopted, not Ji-hwan’s twin. Hui-won adopted him, later gave birth to Ji-hwan, and returned to Korea. He pulls out a necklace with a green stone.

Prosecutor Im Seo-yeon transfers to Criminal Affairs, following Ma Gang-uk to the Cold Case Division. Their dynamic is described as “moon and tide.” She is the tide that follows the moon.

Min-hwan dines with Director Ok Gye-hui, who teases him about acquiring businesses and hints at Ha-ri’s interest.

Cheon Ha-ri visits Park Seung Jae in jail. He promises to bring her Reina when released. Ha-ri accuses Yeo-ri of being an evil shaman with proof in videos and that she would never succeed in taking over the Reina Group.

Yeo-ri recalls Shaman Baek’s ritual to chase away spirits. She lied to her grandmother, saying she could no longer see ghosts, though she still sees Ji-hwan.

Prosecutor Ma Gang-uk is removed from a case by Assemblyman Park’s order. Hyeong-min and Pil-dong discuss ghosts and encounter Yeo-ri at a pub.

At the pub, Yeo-ri admits she sees people when drinking there and ghosts at home. She warns of their terror. Another ghost appears at her table. Gang-uk escorts her home after she drunkenly tears his shirt.

The next morning, Yeo-ri apologizes and sends him a silk shirt. Gang-uk visits her house to return it. She invites him in, confirming he can see ghosts when he spots a child spirit.

Yeo-ri worries about how he will handle seeing ghosts. Gang-uk flees his house after being chased by the boy ghost. She calms him with soju. Together, they search his house and both see the boy again who is laughing at him.
